This manga follows the adventures of a group of mercenaries: the barbarian Mocha (the main character), the rogue Buruman, and the mage Kiliman (Blue Mountain and Killie Mountain, respectively, are famous coffee brands in Japan).
This manga was writen to promote the TV series by the same name. It covers situations not in the anime. It's about a cute female robot that has the brain of a cat.

Daigo wants to be a hero, but his father, who was once the ace of the Japanese handball team, is now a bum who loses all of their money in gambling. His father visits a coach and asks him to take care of Daigo, because he got into debt and is running from the yakuza.
A young boy gets saved from drowning by a mermaid but according to mermaid law, if a human sees a mermaid's true form, both are to be executed. The only solution to the problem is for him to marry her and become part of the mermaid family.
Talk about being at the wrong place at the wrong time!
Shiratori Ryuji wants to become a picture book writer, and he moves to an apartment, Narutaki-So, in order to go to an art school in Tokyo. The Narutaki-so is an old Japanese style one-story house which doesn't fit in with the urban scenery.
Kusaraki Masao is a normal 15 year-old boy. He goes to school, joined the soccer team, and dreams of a day when he can get a girlfriend. He's nice, gentle, and very, very shy with girls.
And why is this Mr. Nice Guy still single?
